Car sharing - At Norwich Ramblers we are encouraging car sharing to the start of our walks. This will reduce pressure on leaders to find large enough car parks, as well as having obvious cost and environmental benefits. We will set up a WhatsApp group for those Ramblers' members willing to take part in car-pooling to give & receive lifts. If you do not have your own transport, you can discuss sharing fuel & parking costs with the driver as your contribution. The walk heads to the quayside in Blakeney and onto the raised bank which follows a wide loop towards Blakeney Eye before swinging back close to the windmill at Cley next the Sea. We will take the North Coast path to return to Blakeney. Please note that, although dogs are allowed, the walk crosses the A149 twice; in addition, there is an approx. 15 minute section on shingle. There is no lunch stop, as food may be eaten at the celebration party that will follow at Queens Hall, adjacent to the finishing point, from 2 to 5. There will be a bar and it is hoped that members will bring food for the event.
